How to - Fill 5 gal plastic buckets with pine shavings while arranging your root veggies throughout the shavings. Moisten and keep moist & covered preferably at 45-50 degrees.  Don’t wash vegetables, just brush off extra dirt before storing. Should last the winter with care and attention. Potatoes, are not stored this way as they must be kept dry and in the dark.
